Black Beauty Zucchini

A classic green zucchini. In our trials, this open-pollinated zucchini stood out for its sweet taste and sizeable, yet manageable yields. The plants are large and vigorous, and resisted powdery mildew the longest out of all similar types.
This zucchini is dark green with matte skin. The fruits will get very large, and lose quality beyond about 8 inches in length, so pick often. Best when picked young, 1-2 plants are generally enough for one home garden.
