Czech Black Pepper

An exceptional plant for edible landscaping, as the unripe pods that cover these plants are deep purply black in color, with shiny skin and a satisfyingly plump shape just bigger than a jalapeno. The pods ripen from this purple tone, landing at a sort of deep ruby red color when fully ripe. Black pods have a jalapeno-level heat; ruby ones can be quite a bit hotter.
