Determinate. We love heirloom seed donations. This one came over to the states with the brother of Frank Timpone, from Brick, New Jersey, who's been growing it for forty years! In our garden trials, this tomato was a vigorous grower with thick, sometimes twinned stems. The high-yielding plants produced tons of 2-3 inch fruits. Before deciding whether to add this one to the catalog, we tested it out in a few Iranian recipes, some of which called for tomato sauce or dried tomatoes. Saucing and drying is what this tomato does best: simply superb. Thanks to Frank for introducing us to this excellent saucing variety!
