This semi-dwarf Brussels sprout has been a standard garden variety since the 1800s. Smaller plants are easier to handle in a small garden. Brussels sprouts are a long season crop and benefit from care and attention several times through the growing season. Upon harvest, try preparing the larger leafy greens as well, they taste like mild collards.
