This gorgeous poppy's soft, white petals reflect a golden light much like linens hung to dry in the sun. Its prolific blooms and nutrient-rich pollen make it a favorite of bees. Self-sowing and drought-tolerant. Meadow or naturalized landscape plantings are especially effective. California poppies bloom from early summer into fall, but will take a break during heat waves. Adds elegance to rock gardens and borders.
